Alupuram

Alupuram Works, established in 1938, is located in Ernakulam district of Kerala. In 1943, the country’s very first aluminium ingot was produced at this smelter. Although the smelter later shut down, the Alupuram Extrusions unit, established in 1955, is currently operational with a capacity of 12,000TPA. The plant is equipped with two extrusion presses, solutionising furnaces, heat treatment facilities, and a state-of-the art packing facility.

The library of dies at Alupuram Extrusions offers a wide range of shapes and alloys suitable for a variety of applications, including architecture and interior design, industrial use, and transport bodies. Our signature MaxloaderTM is an all-aluminium truck body crafted from extruded profiles and manufactured at Alupuram. MaxloaderTM provides numerous advantages such as a high strength-to-weight ratio, durability, and energy efficiency.
