We are a global copper powerhouse

We are the world’s second-largest producer of copper rods and the leading copper producer in India, serving over half of the Indian demand for refined copper.

Our fully integrated copper complex at Dahej, Gujarat, is one of the largest custom copper complexes globally. We produce electrolytically refined, 99.99% pure, continuous cast copper rods, oxygen-free rods, speciality alloy rods and wires in various sizes, from LME-grade copper cathodes, which are used for railway electrification, wiring, and manufacture of automobiles, electric vehicles and various consumer durables.

In line with our strategy of delivering innovative solutions to our customers, we are launching several new downstream solutions such as copper tubes for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry (including inner groove tubes), specialty alloys for railways and metros, and copper foils for EV batteries. Most of these are part of the 'Make in India' initiative by copper division of Hindalco.
