Hindalco is a global leader in aluminium and copper production. We are India’s largest copper producer as well as the largest aluminium downstream player in the market. Novelis, our wholly owned global subsidiary, has a production capacity of over 4,000,000MT, reinforcing our position as the world’s largest flat-rolled products manufacturer. With the aim of expanding our downstream aluminium business to meet the growing market demand, we have acquired Hydro’s aluminium extrusions business in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh.

Birla Copper, Hindalco’s copper division, is known for operating one of the largest copper smelters in the world, located in Dahej, Gujarat. We produce LME grade copper cathodes and copper rods with primary applications in communication cables and wiring.
